    This plan works!!! 2022 Aug. graduate. I lost 20 pounds and kept 3:45 it off 20/4 fasting/feasting. The bloating gone!! Just do it!!!

    Thank you. May i be honest and blunt here? Feeling better is primordial and looking my best is close second. I do not understand why creamer or a snack could trump that????? Either you want to age well and stay healthy or you don’t. Fasting clean 20 hours is a very very small condition to realizing everything you say you want. It should not be a difficult choice! Creamer or a beautiful healthy vibrant you!!!! Come on?????no brainer. I am baffled and bewildered by the lack of motivation and discipline that keeps people enslaved in bad habits when the solution is soooooooo very simppe and easy 😮

    Osteopenia - are you still offering this information? I just had my bone density test last week. I am 58 and been in menopause for 15 plus years. My T scores were Lumbar spine -0.2, Femoral neck -1.3, Total hip -0.6 so all three in the negative. I am eager to improve these numbers.

    I have a question, I work 3rd shift Sunday night through Thursday night. I'm just thinking about fasting but I'm having a hard time trying to figure put when is the best time for me to do it. On weekends I usually switch my life up like a normal person and up all day so I can be with family. Do you have any suggestions?

    My grandfather lived into his 90’s and died in the 1970’s. No medications, no formal exercise routine. He walked his dog daily and was something of a walker generally. He also only ate one meal a day for his entire life. He weighed the same when he died as he did when he was 17 and had no health problems. He just wore out.

    Hi there. I am an Australian watcher. I have been IF for over a year, initially following 16/8 . I was super excited to find your channel, to actually have someone who knew about women of my age. (64). But. I am so sad, despondent, and giving up. After all this time, I have lost nothing. Not a kg. Not a cm. How can it be that I have had no reward at all for following the guidelines? Not even a little bit to get excited about. Even berberine hasnt helped. I understand your plan, can see how it should be working, have stuck diligently to a 4 hour window, controlling my sugar, drinking black coffee only, plenty of water..... Nothing. Nothing. Oh well.     Hi Dy Ann!👋- I’m 61 and started keto / IF 9 months ago, I’m-85 lbs down (50lbs from my healthy goal weight/BMI 23). I’ve always had cream in my coffee. I find black coffee punitive. I do a 2 mile Walk At Home cardio video daily. IF is not one size fits all. ❤❤❤

    I have returned to IF 20/4 after about 5 years. I’m now post menopausal and taking HRT. I’ve been back at it for about 6 weeks and down 10 (stubborn) lbs but I’ve noticed the last couple weeks that the night flashes have come back and starting to effect my sleep. Is this a sign that my fasting is too aggressive or should I stay the course? I’m only looking to lose another 5-10 lbs and this is the only thing that has worked for me.

    Hi @DyAnnParham, I’m starting your class in August. I’m an IF OG. Been doing IF on and off for years and often “white knuckling” it because even after clean fasting I can’t seem to get my body fat adapted. After 2-4 weeks each time (even with electrolytes) I “bonk” and am exhausted, starving out of my head, hangry, and can’t focus or work for weeks. My body just refuses to switch to fat burning mode. I just can’t push through to the other side - I’d have to quit working because I can’t focus when I’m so crazy hungry or I’d just stay in bed and only get up for my 4 hour feasting window. And I end up giving up out of frustration and exhaustion each time. I’ve heard it takes some people months to start burning fat and get that clarity and energy but I’ve never had that in all the low carb, keto, and IF I’ve tried. What recommendations do you have for someone whose body can’t seem to get into fat burning mode?

    Very happy I found you a few months back. I've lost 13 pounds in 3 months doing the 20:4 lifestyle change. Have more menopause weight to lose BUT for me this has been a game changer. I've lowered my overall cholesterol by 13 points. I'm determined to get my LDL down currently at 178. Everyone in my family has diabetes. My mom say it's impossible for me to do including my doctor but I'm going to show them, they are wrong when I'm scheduled for another LIPID panel. I will be taking your class in September!     What are your thoughts about fasting entire days (every other day)? For example, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday as fast days and other days as eating days. Does this type of intermittent fasting have less benefits for hormones? Does it have more risks of nutrient defeciencies?       Girlfriend I like to keep things simple. Life is hard enough. I just fast. What if a social event comes up on a Monday. Or I am free on Tuesday and have nothing to do and it would be a great opportunity for a fast. Consistency over time. KISS keep it simple, sis!!

    I’m just starting my clean fast journey. I was quite upset at the thought of no cream/stevia in my coffee. But now I just drink a cup of black coffee in the mornings, and look forward to another cup with all the goodies during my eating window. Problem solved!

    I was diagnosed with Chronic Urticaria and when I started the 20:4 intermittent fasting I almost never had to take my medication(blexten). I broke it for a weekend camping thinking I could relax, nope. Broke out quite a bit the last day of the 3 day trip. Will be sticking to intermittent fasting as my body seems to really react well!

    Hi Dy Ann! Just finished the July class! I’ve been following you for about three months and your videos have changed the way I think of food. The class was awesome too. I have a history of anorexia and food and dieting has controlled my life but no more! I gained about 20lbs with menopause and I was miserable. I have stopped weighing myself for the first time in my life until today. I have a Dr appointment and didn’t want to be surprised or disappointed there so I finally did it and I’ve lost 15lbs! Been doing IF on and off for years and often “white knuckling” it because even after clean fasting I can’t seem to get my body fat adapted. After 2-4 weeks each time (even with electrolytes) I “bonk” and am exhausted, starving out of my head, hangry, and can’t focus or work for weeks. My body just refuses to switch to fat burning mode. I just can’t push through to the other side - I’d have to quit working because I can’t focus when I’m so crazy hungry or I’d just stay in bed and only get up for my 4 hour feasting window. And I end up giving up out of frustration and exhaustion each time. I’ve heard it takes some people months to start burning fat and get that clarity and energy but I’ve never had that in all the low carb, keto, and IF I’ve tried. What recommendations do you have for someone whose body can’t seem to get into fat burning mode?

    Hi Dy Ann. Just finished the July class and really enjoyed it and learned a lot. I am doing great in my 20hour fasts. No crutches just water for 20 hrs and then 4 hrs of feasting. Usually break my fast with my shake and then just dinner and maybe a small snack and then I'm back to fasting. Feeling great and losing those last few lbs. I found you back in February and have lost 26 lbs and just had that last 5 to go when I jumped in class. Love listening to your videos to keep me motivated so I'm glad they are still coming. I never got to participate in the lives but I think I have watched most of your old ones.

      I try to weave them in here and there. But they don’t get as much traction. We have our MLMSS course that really focuses on MindSet as well!!

    I love “Take that power back”. I am tired of hearing people say fasting is not good for you. When I do a 20 hour clean fast that is when I feel the best!

    So I am a bit concerned with extending my fast to 20 hours as I have dealt with low blood sugar. If I am wearing a cgm can I safely extend this. Is there times of day you find work best for this fasting window. I often feel hungry around 9 pm.

    IF for more than 2 years, age 69. For decades I was struggling with health decline, weight creeping higher and higher, fatigue, stress, lots of hormonal issues. I have achieved ideal weight which I couldn't reach in decades no matter what I did. My digestive system can't cope with eating more food more often. I need the 20 hours period to process what could be done faster when I was younger, I eat what I want when I am not fasting but it is also healthy/good for me. I don't need sugar or carbs. I am strong and flexible and am living my best life.

    Yes exactly!! I’m always questioning if I’m doing it “right” and looking for the next thing to do. I never trust myself.
